Seeking a ‘well rounded’ Senior Technical Engineer for our NYC office.
Job Description:
*Responsible for supporting network and security infrastructure.
*Responsible for supporting backend IT infrastructure systems/storage environment.
*Responsible for desktop support functions, including break/fix.
*Knowledge of both Windows/Macintosh computers and developing system images and software packages.
*Knowledge of various aspects of systems/storage, including:
*Microsoft Exchange
*Active Directory
*SAN
*Terminal Services
*Blackberry BES
*Trend Micro
*Websense
*Backup Exec
*VMware
*Network monitoring tools
*Knowledge of hardware platforms, including:
*Dell Powerconnect switches
*Dell Powervault disk/tape storage
*Dell Poweredge servers
*Dell Equilogic
*Knowledge of networking/security technologies, including:
*OSPF/BGP
*MPLS
*IP Telephony
*Spanning tree
*Cisco routers/switches
*Adtran routers/switches
*Firewalls
Professional Experience:
5+ years of above experiences.
Ability to communicate in a dynamic work environment
